This painting was an experiment with colour.  

Two blues...Pthalo and Cerulean

Two reds...Cadmium medium and Permanent Rose

Plus Titanium white.

It is interesting how a whole painting can emerge from a very limited palette.

I shall repeat this exercise again with other hues.

There is a sense of calm without distraction.
